Advantages:
1) The OG 65 is not demanding in terms of takeoff and landing conditions: a runway or additional launch and recovery equipment are not required.
2) Compact and easy to transport. The wings detach, and the device with additional equipment can be quickly packed into a special transport case, which can be carried on a trailer. Deployment time is around 15 minutes.
3) With three batteries and no additional load, an experimental maximum flight range of 400 km was achieved. The actual flight range with a payload consisting solely of a camera weighing 1.5-2 kg is over 250 km. With a payload of 15 kg, the flight range is up to 200 km, with battery charge levels sufficient for safe landing and preserving the LiPo batteries' resources.
4) Practical benefits of the structural design are confirmed, namely: absence of energy losses for longitudinal balancing, high aerodynamic quality, and approximately 1.6 times increased load-carrying capacity and specific lifting surface.
5) Navigation system - GNSS (satellite) / INS (inertial). The inertial system allows the UAV to maintain the set course for up to 5 minutes in case of satellite signal loss, with minimal deviation until satellite connection is restored.
6) The information transmission system is multiple times duplicated to enhance flight safety. The built-in data transceiver for control and video streaming is the main control channel—1.4 GHz with a radio communication range of 150 km at altitudes above 3 km / 70 km at altitudes above 1.5 km. The data transmitted from the UAV is confidential. It is protected by encryption systems as well as multi-channel transmission over a broad frequency range with a pseudo-random frequency hopping mode. The remote control unit is integrated with the telemetry and video transmission channels, allowing a radio communication range of up to 200 km.
7) In addition to the barometer, an optional radio altimeter can be installed on the OG-65 for safe landing, with an effective operational height of 50 meters in the landing configuration.
8) A proprietary ground control station has been developed for data reception and transmission. The GCS (Ground Control Station) is a portable mobile system consisting of a weatherproof case housing an industrial high-performance computer and long-range antennas mounted on a tripod. Connection is made via Ethernet cable. The station can operate for over 24 hours without recharging.
9) Besides the cargo transport case, the OG-65 can be equipped with two types of payloads—remote sensing equipment for land remote sensing (RS). If RS payloads are used, an additional onboard rechargeable battery (accumulator) can be installed, increasing the flight range by 30–40%.
10) For RS payloads, the UAV is equipped with an onboard camera with 30x optical zoom and a thermal imaging camera. Camera specifications can vary depending on mission requirements. A gyrostabilized electromagnetic platform ensures optimal photo and video data quality. The system can track moving objects and maintain their course.
11) For cargo transportation, the OG-65 has a cargo compartment that allows easy loading and unloading of items. The cargo compartment can be upgraded per customer requirements—for example, to transport biological materials while maintaining a specific temperature inside the compartment using Peltier elements.
