Technical Description of the Unmanned Aerial System OG-50

OG-50 is a multifunctional drone that, depending on the installed additional equipment and its overall specifications, is capable of performing the widest range of tasks:
• Cargo transportation weighing up to 25 kg
• Inspection flights
• Monitoring of extensive objects
• Day and night patrolling
• Visual aerial photography
• Thermal imaging aerial photography
• Cartography.

Advantages:

1) OG-50 is a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle powered by an internal combustion engine, capable of operating for up to 6 hours with a payload capacity of up to 25 kg.

2) Compact and easy to transport. The wings detach, and the aircraft along with additional equipment can be quickly packed into a special transport case, which can be carried on a vehicle trailer. Assembly for operation takes about 10 minutes and can be performed by two people.

3) OG-50 supports fully autonomous takeoff and landing functions, with one-button launch and touchdown. It is equipped with a chassis system that is highly reliable and reusable, as well as anti-slip wheel brakes that effectively reduce landing distance. Takeoff and landing are completely safe.

4) OG-50 employs a flight control system characterized by high precision, multiple safety features, and excellent flight stability. It supports not only fully autonomous mode but also manual operation. Additionally, it supports RTK positioning services for more stable signal and precise positioning.

5) Practical evidence confirms significant advantages of its structural design, namely: absence of energy losses on longitudinal balancing, high aerodynamic quality, and approximately 1.6 times increased lift capacity and specific payload surface capabilities.

6) Apart from the barometer, an optional radio altimeter can be installed for safe landing. Its effective operation height in landing mode is 50 meters.

7) A proprietary ground control station (GCS) has been developed for data reception and transmission. It is a portable mobile complex consisting of a waterproof box with an industrial high-performance computer and long-range antennas mounted on a tripod.

8) On the OG-50, in addition to the cargo transport box, two types of payload can be installed – equipment for remote sensing of the earth (RS). When RS equipment is used, an additional onboard rechargeable battery (RB) can be installed, which will increase the flight range by 30-40%.

9) As a payload for cargo transportation, the OG-50 is equipped with a cargo compartment that allows for easy loading and unloading of items intended for transportation. The cargo compartment can be upgraded upon customer request. For example, to transport biological materials and maintain a specific temperature in the cargo compartment, Peltier elements can be installed.
